Went to Kamikochi in Nagano today. Its a plateau and it serves as a base to the Japan alps. Very pretty place. Pity today very cloudy and it started raining in the afternoon. So had to cut short my hike and I didnt take as photos as I would like to.
Saw wild monkeys today! They were totally used to people and didnt run away when we approached. In fact, they even walked along side us on the path. Think they are used to people already. And the Japanese do not feed them with tidbits, so they do not have the habit of "attacking" people for food.
