Pirates of the Caribbean 2

I watched it liao~~~!!!!! We went AMC today.... Its like GV cineplex but much bigger with 20 cinemas. US cinema is free seating.... and the chairs are huge.... There are 3 levels of seats and the seats are very tall... so totally no blocking from the front rows... and the leg space is very good.... heehee~ Tickets more expensive... normally is 10 USD.... But today is cheaper because it is sunday afternoon - matinee... so only 8 USD.

Psst... Some heads-up on the movie... Singapore is mentioned again... Why? Check it out yourself during the movie. haha... and remember to stay till the end to catch the extras!!!

Macro shots of Flowers in SF

Experimented the macro functionality with my Ixus 800IS while in SF.... Haha~ the joys of not being on package tour....

Both the flowers were very small... esp the white-yellow ones... less than 1cm in diameter... think my ixus did a good job of taking this macro... can even see the bug on the flower... which i didnt notice when taking the pic...

The yellow flower is about 3 times the size of the white one.... I like this pic because of the varying field of depth captured with the different distances of flowers... except that part on the top-right hand corner... argh.....

Hallo~! It's me.... I'm in the US now... yes... less than 3 weeks before coming back from China... It's now 8th July 12.31am now... Saturday... Tired... but can't sleep... Jet lag??? So here's some photos that I took today....

During our stopover at HongKong International Airport. That's the UA plane that I took to HK.... Then I think saw "May Day", the Taiwanese band at the airport, they walked just past me... but I only confirmed 1 of them.... the be-spectacled guy who got married recently..
